BINDER VD Series - Vacuum Drying Chambers (Non-Flammable Solvents)

Key Features:

Explosion Protected Interior – The ATEX-compliant unit concept, equipped with a pressure control device for heating activation at a vacuum level below 100 mbar, is noteworthy. Conforms to ATEX category EX II 2/3/- G IIB T3 Gb/Gc/- X standards.

Automatic Drying Detection – The interior is automatically ventilated once the program control detects that pressure in the chamber has dropped (typically takes place at the end of drying.

Tested Safety - With its shatterproof, spring-mounted safety glass panel, inert gas connection for interior flushing, and electronic components decoupled from the interior, the VD series ensures enhanced safety and reliability.

Jacket Heating – BINDERs’ patented expansion racks help to provide optimum heat transfer. They help to facilitate flexible placement for precise temperature control. 1 included with this model.

Expansion Racks – Help to maximise the heat transfer to items being dried within. Options of aluminium or stainless steel racks are available. (See more info in specifications tab)

Analogue Output For Temperature & Pressure – Used for external monitoring & evaluation of process parameters. There is also the option to integrate into on-site systems.

Universal Ventilation - Different ventilation types available, with options for air or inert gas. The valves can be precisely controlled either through the controller itself or via the APT-COM Multi Management Software, providing users with flexible and efficient ventilation management.

Universal Access Port DN 40 – For the insertion and positioning of sensors or supply lines within the vacuum chamber.

Pump Module With Vacuum Pump – Lift the vacuum oven up to optimal working height whilst reducing the noise of the vacuum pump significantly. You can switch the pump on and off with a switchable socket, and the casing protects both the pump and glass material from mechanical damage.

Vacuum Pumps – Match your VD BINDER oven with either membrane pumps, chemistry membrane pumps, or speed-controlled membrane pumps. This also (when connected to a pump) protects both the vacuum pump and flask from mechanical damage.

Multi Management Software APT-COM – Effortlessly manage, record and document unit parameters. Available in 3 versions, Basic, Professional and GLP.
