Product Features
Each tool has been specially crafted with carbon steel and thorough heat treatment. Each tool uses ergonomic principles, guaranteeing a safe, light, comfortable grip.
Piergiacomi ESD tools' surface resistance is within the ideal area between 106 and 109Ω. This resistance prevents any damage to sensitive components.
Return Spring
Piergiacomi tools come equipped with a return spring. This is designed to ensure constant force and help alleviate operator effort. See image to the right, displaying force saved by using Piergiacomi tools.
Safety Springs
With Piergiacomiyou can choose safety springs to be fitted. This helps to prevent any leftover cut wire from flying back into the operators eyes. These safety springs can be either sheet (offering greater precision and durability) or wire.
Handles
The versatility on offer with Piergiacomi is second to none. There is a handle that provides the optimal ergonomics for your requirements. This includes 1 - Long handles / 2 - Bigger, thicker handles / 3 - Cable cutter handles / 4 - Smaller handles / 5 - Standard handles
Overlapping Blades
Piergiacomi cutters utilise overlapping blades, providing a more gentle and precise cut.
Ordinary cutters from other brands often have parallel blades. When cutting with these, the wire is pushed towards the centre, offering a less clean cut. Piergiacomi cutters slide gently on the wire, thanks to the overlapping blades. This slices the wire and does not subject unnecessary mechanical stress.
Ultimately, this requires less force to use the tool and helps to reduce operator fatigue.
