Why Buy A HIOS Electric Screwdriver?
For over half a century, HIOS has been researching and developing fastening technologies, including electric screwdrivers, torque measuring equipment & more. HIOS provides solutions for all needs, from brushed to brushless, ESD safe and even noiseless. Catering to an extensive torque range, HIOS torque drivers are perfect for every application – no matter if it is for electronic production, watch repair or car mechanics.
HIOS electric torque screwdrivers have control systems with an auto shut off. This cuts the power supply to the tool once it has established the desired tightening value.
ESD HIOS drivers are available, check the listing or contact a member of our team for any assistance needed.

6 Features With HIOS Screwdrivers
1) Detachable Cords – The connectable cords on these drivers are detachable. This aids in making the maintenance process simple – this is indicated by (DC Type) in the specs of the driver.
There are 2 types of connectors – as illustrated below.
2) Start Types – HIOS torque drivers come in 3 different start types for the operator’s preference and convenience:
- Lever Start – Operated by a trigger on the side of the unit.
- Push Start – Once the driver is pushed down gently it will begin to operate.
- Two Way Start – Includes both the above start types for the operator’s preference.
3) Torque Adjustment Nut For Fine Tuning – HIOS provide a wide torque range, with the ability for step-less adjustment. Screws can be accurately and stably fastened thanks to the repetitive torque accuracy of all HIOS electric screwdrivers.
4) Brushless Motors – Some of the HIOS series of screwdrivers include brushless motors. As these use no carbon brushes, no carbon particles are generated. This greatly improves the torque accuracy and durability of each HIOS screwdriver – providing stable quality control.
5) External Carbon Brush (Brushed Range) – The external design of the carbon brush facilities allows for simple replacement. On average (depending on the conditions of the use) the carbon brush can last for up to 1 million screw fastenings.
6) Flexible Driver Bit Compatibility – HIOS drivers can cater to a variety of different drive types from two way shank, HIOS shank and HEX shank. Drivers sold by Kaisertech are HEX shank type, taking 1/4HEX or 5HEX bits. See our driver bit page here to find the screwdriver bit that is compatible with your HIOS driver. Find the other joint shafts here to allow your driver to take other driver bits. See table below.
