JBC Control Units
Personalise your JBC soldering set up with the modular range. JBC control units allow for simultaneous connection for between 1 to 4 handpieces. Choose your module as per the number of tools you need, along with the soldering tip variation you require. In addition to the control unit, for a basic working system you will require 1 stand, 1 tool and 1 cartridge.
What Are JBC Control Units?
Control units are stackable power supplies that allow the user to personalise their soldering set up to best fit their soldering applications. Most units are compatible with up to 10 different JBC handpieces (see our modular line map below).
All units benefit from the exclusive heating system of JBC, increasing your work efficiency thanks to the fast tip temperature recovery.
What Do You Need For A Basic Modular Set Up?
For a basic working JBC modular set up, you will require 1 control unit, 1 stand, 1 handpiece and 1 cartridge.
Control Units – Choose from the most common units, allowing compatibility with either 1 tool, 2 tools or 4 tools. There are even specific modules should you require nitrogen flow or desoldering capabilities.
Stand – JBC have a range of stands for each of their tools. From tweezer stands, to hot air stands and more. Each stand aids to increase productivity by benefiting from the quick cartridge extractor (available on all stands and compact stations). This allows you to switch cartridges in under 5 seconds!
Handpiece – JBC’s cartridges encompass a wide array of applications, from soldering to rework irons. They guarantee performance and the maximum efficiency. They each benefit from a short tip to grip control, along with being light and ergonomic for long periods of use.
Cartridge – The range of soldering tips available from JBC is constantly growing and evolving. There is always a solution available, whether it involves nano soldering requirements or general-purpose soldering. There are well over 500 variations available to suit your needs!
