What Are Torque Reaction Arms?

Torque reaction arms provide the optimal way of protecting both the operator of your torque equipment and improving their efficiency. The reaction arms absorb and transfer the generated force from your torque screwdrivers. During the fastening process, they will balance the weight of the tool, without compromising the freedom of movement or dexterity of your tool.

All of the reaction arms are durable yet light, meaning the setup and placement of these arms is simple and fast.

Types Of Torque Reaction Arm

Linear / Articulated – Developed to be fixed onto the workstation or the floor, these arms are available in 3 different geometries.

Telescopic – Lightweight and durable, these arms are installed onto existing suspended frames. They allow for multidirectional screwing, offering the ultimate versatility.

Sliding Arms – These arms are suspended from a balancer rail, perfect for cramped working conditions as they take up little space on the production line. Slider arms guarantee vertical screwing under an extended working area.

Benefits Of Torque Reaction Arms

Ergonomics

Reaction arms prevent the torque from reaching the operator’s hand by absorbing the vibrations that your screwdriver produces. They also help to lighten the load, leading to a reduction in repetitive strain injuries and other postural problems caused by repetitive actions.

Productivity & Quality

Reaction arms serve to improve the overall operational efficiency. They provide smooth movement and perfect adjustment for assembly operations. DOGA reaction arms guarantee screwing precision and quality with no oscillating movement – resulting in significantly improved final results.

Accurate Monitoring

You can couple your DOGA reaction arms with the DPC Touch V2. This allows you to create tightening sequences to ensure each screw is correctly placed and tightened to the right torque. Record and track operations along with guiding operators through the process. Read more here.
