What Are Stereo Microscopes?

Stereo Microscopes differ to that of digital microscopes, with eyepieces for optical viewing.

They combine two microscopes into one package, having 2 optical paths. Each of these have their own objective and ocular lens.

Each of the eyepieces relays a different angle of the viewed image, creating a 3-dimensional view, allowing the user to see both depth and dimensions.

You will be using a stereo microscope where low magnifications are needed. This allows for high-quality, 3D observations of objects that are visible to the naked eye. This makes a stereo microscope perfect for inspecting and working on PCBs.
