The BINDER Incubator of the BD series with gravity convection is the specialist in long-term and stable continuous operation. This incubator is specially designed for gentle incubation of organisms, conditioning of heat-sensitive media, or microbiological heating.
Key Features:
Electronically Controlled APT.line™ Preheating Chamber- This ensures temperature accuracy and reproducible results. It preheates the innner chamber to create an optimal environment for delicate incubation processes.
Inner Glass Door and chrome-plated racks - The inner glass door and chrome-plated racks keep the temperature steady while allowing visibility into the chamber. There are 2 chrome plated racks available for storage and organization.
Precise temperature control - Temperature can be set digitally to within 0.1°C, providing exquisite control for delicate processes.
Adjustable Ventilation - The incubator features adjustable ventilation, featuring a front flap slide and a rear exhaust (Ø 50 mm) to maintain a steady temperature throughout.

- Access ports with Silicon Plug - Available in 10, 30 or 50 mm and also accept externa measuring instruments.
- Waterproof interior socket - The switchable 230 V AC socket is waterproof and perfect for interior use, with a maximum power rating of 500 W and an IP 65 protection level. 50 °C is its maximum operating temperature.
- Additional PT 100 Temperature sensor - For precise temperature monitoring with a 3- pin LEMO connector that would help in accurate temperature monitoring.
- Temperature measurement acc. to DIN 12880 - 15 measuring points at 37 °C or at specified temperature with measuring protocol and certificate
- Calibration certificate - measurement in center of chamber at 37 °C or at specified testing temperature
- Extension to calibration certificate - Each additional measurement at additional measuring point or testing temperature
- Anti-slip rubber pads - for safe stacking (1 set of 4 pieces)
- Data Logger Kit T 220 - For continuous temperature recording of -90 °C to 220 °C. Kit includes 1 data logger, PT 100 sensor with 2 m Teflon extension cable and 1 fixture for mounting to the BINDER unit
