ESD Anti Static Common Point Ground Lead 4.5m Yellow
A good quality straight ground lead that supplies a strong connection to ground. Durable and designed to be worn in an EPA.
To ensure a path to ground, essental when handling components or assembling parts in an EPA. An EPA will not permit any item that could potentially buildup static electricity, resulting in an electrostatic discharge (ESD).
This is a 15ft (4.5 metres) ground cord with a 10mm snap at one end and 10mm snap and 2 banana sockets at the other end.
Must be used in combination with a grounding cord and bonding plug to ensure operator is grounded.
Breakaway Force
1 to 5lbs of pull away force is required to disconnect the snap in a normal disconnect direction
Connection Integrity
The tensile strength of the end connections shall be not less than 66% of the tensile strength of the wire, and in no case shall it be less than 5lbs
Hardware
All metal parts shall show no evidence of corrosion and rust after 24 hours submersion to salt solution. Preferably made from stainless steel or brass alloy plated with nickel
Bending Life Test
Exceeds 20,000 cycles of bending life test without any physical damage on the strain relief.
Electrical Properties
Resistance: Ground connector (banana plug/ eyelet) to snap = 1Mohm ± 20% ground connector to terminal end (receptable) = 1Mohm ± 20&.
