Desiccant bags are ideal for protecting packaging and enclosure contents that are susceptible to damage from moisture, such as electronic components.
Filled with highly active agents, these bags' absorption capacity can be as high as 30%.
The silica gel filling is environmentally friendly as it is chemically inactive and non-toxic, which makes it safe to handle and can easily be discarded.

British Standards
Silica gel bags meet or exceed BS 7554:1992, which is the British standard specifying desiccant performance. These bags also:
- Moisture Indicator - Orange and green colour change indicates when the remaining absorption capacity fails below the BS 7554 threshold.
- Indicator Sachets - Each sealed bag of on-indicator sachets includes an indicator sachet, which confirms viability when the bag is opened.
- Encapsulation Materials - All of the materials in contact with the desiccant are approved for food use. This includes paper, Tyvek and Tyvek substitutes.
