With an 8:1 zoom ratio, the SX80 provides the ability to inspect components/specimens at low and high magnification in a single system, with the added flexibility of a wide range of options and system configurations.

Image Capture, Archive & Documentation

  • Photo tube option permits the use of digital or video camera.
  • Modular multimedia solutions are available for image archiving, acquisition, processing, analysis and documentation.
  • Software options include the capabilities for particle analysis and image stitching functions.

LED Ring Light

  • For use with bench stand variant, where additional surface illumination is required (standard option with boom mount and dual arm boom variants).

Floating Stage

  • For use with bench stand models, the floating stage provides smooth sample control, ideal for inspection tasks.

Fine Focus

  • For use with bench stand models, the fine focus option permits ultimate focus control, ideal for higher magnification work.

Polarisation Set

  • Polarising filters can be accommodated with bench stand configurations.

Double Iris Diaphragm

  • Enabling the size of the internal numerical aperture to be changed on both optical paths for greater depth of field throughout the zoom range.
