ESD Replacement Cord Stud To Stud Yellow 1.8m

A good quality cord to stud coiled earth cord that supplies a strong connection to ground. The cord can be stretched and recoiled back to its original length, assisting to keep a clear, efficient and comfortable working space. All snaps have 1 meg-ohm safety resistor. 

Designed to be worn in an ESD working area and is important when handling components or assembling parts in an EPA. Wearing this will prevent the build-up of static on the operators body, which protects any electrical equipment that is being handled from being damaged. 

Must be used in combination with a grounding cord and bonding plug to ensure operator is grounded. 

Breakaway Force
1 to 5lbs of pull away force is required to disconnect the snap in a normal disconnect direction

Ground Lead Extend-ability
Cord should return back to at least 85% of its original length in less than 10 minutes after hanging length in less than 10 minutes after handing for 24 hours, with 1kg weight on the other end

The tensile strength of the end connections shall be not less than 66% of the tensile strength of the wire, and in no case shall it be less than 5lbs

All metal parts shall show no evidence of corrosion and rust after 24 hours submersion to salt solution. Preferably made from stainless steel or brass alloy plated with nickel
