The T470 Heavy Duty Handle is perfect for intensive soldering work that requires continued high thermal power such as large ground planes, production off solar panels, armor and other applications.

One key feature includes a grip of larger width and a screw which fixes the cartridge to prevent its rotation.

It can provide up to 250W when used with a HD Heavy Duty Station and C470 Cartridge Range.

It can also work with Modular Control Units and CDS/CDB Stations using C245 Cartridge Range.

What stations do the T470 handpieces work with?

The T470 range of soldering tools work with a number of stations, but it depends on which cartridge range you are using with the tool.

If you are using C470 cartridges, then the T470 will only be compatible with the HDU control unit.

However, if you decide to use the C245 cartridge range in the T470 handpiece then you can use the following stations:

DIU, DDU and DMU control units
CD-2SF & CD-2BF soldering stations.
