Clay Desiccant Bags - 100g Sachets
Desiccant bags are ideal for protecting packaging and enclosure contents that are susceptible to damage from moisture, such as electronic components.
Modified clay bags include a small percentage of calcium chloride, blended with modified clay. This overcomes the problem of dampness at equilibrium and enhances performance to the same level as that of silica gel (ie - 1DU = 25g).
Clay desiccant bags offer a lower cost alternative to silica gel sachets for general packaging purposes.
Filled with highly active agents, these bags' absorption capacity can be as high as 30%.
The activated clay filling is environmentally friendly as it is chemically inactive and non-toxic, which makes it safe to handle and can easily be discarded.
Non-toxic for metal or any material.

British Standards
Clay desiccant bags meet or exceed BS 7529:1991, which is the British standard specifying desiccant performance. Moisture content on dispatch is lower than that required by the standard.
