JBC ALEP Automatic-Feed Soldering Station
The ALEP is designed for high-volume production environments where operators perform repetitive soldering tasks over extended periods, combining efficient automatic solder feeding with improved operator comfort.
Supplied with the ergonomic ALEP250 Angled Automatic-Feed Soldering Iron. Its balanced grip provides a natural hand position to help reduce strain during longer shifts, while trigger-controlled feeding leaves one hand free for precise component positioning.
Three operating modes - Continuous, Discontinuous and Program. Each provide precise control over solder wire feed speed and length. The station accomodates solder reels up to 2kg and wire diameters from 0.4 to 1.8mm when used with the appropriate guide kit.
Solder wire perforation is available for wire diameters from 0.8mm upwards. This helps to improve flux outgassing while reducing solder projections and FOD. Integrated connectivity also supports data download, remote control and traceability.

Solder Wire Perforation
The ALEP has small blades in the feeder that perforate the solder wire down to the flux core.
This process caters for better flux flow and outgassing, whilst also avoiding the solder and flux from splashing whilst you solder.
Increased Productivity
The ALEP can carry out different soldering tasks within just a few stations, no need to switch the station off.
You can easily switch between and reload solder wire, with a maximum weight capacity of 2kg per reel.
Connectivity & Ease Of Use
Setting up and working with the ALEP is simple thanks to its easy to use 7-key keypad. Other JBC devices and accessories can be used with the ALEP station to achieve the best soldering results. This includes the FAE Fume Extractors & pedals.
Intelligent Heat Management
The ALEP, like all JBC tools, include intelligent heat management as standard. This includes an extremely quick temperature recovery - reaching 350°C in under 2 seconds.
Multi-Purpose Stand
Included with the ALEP stand is a tip cleaning membrane, pocket for brass wool, both aiding in preventing oxidation between cleaning and rewetting. This helps to also keep your work area clean. The stand allows you to store up to 4 cartridges.
