JBC PHXLE Extra Large Preheater

The PHXLE Preheater is designed for precise rework on large PCBAs, such as communication boards, aeroplanes and more.

It provides a heating area of 510 x 610 mm (20.07 x 24 in.) and includes eight thermocouple (TC) connections. Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to its user-friendly menu navigation. It has 6 independent work zones that can be toggled on and off (255 x 203mm)

With excellent temperature accuracy and control, the PHXLE minimises the risk of component damage and reduces the likelihood of thermal shock during PCB rework.

Three work modes:

Power Mode

Operates at a fixed power level, with the option to connect a protection thermocouple.

Temperature Mode

Maintains the PCBA at a selected temperature using the regulation thermocouple, with optional protection thermocouples for added safety.

Profile Mode

Controls the heating rate for PCBs using a regulation thermocouple and optional protection thermocouple. It includes up to 25 customizable profiles to adapt heating to each application without exceeding recommended limits.

Compatibility & Accessories

The PHXLS large PCB Support adapts to virtually any PCB with multiple adjustable components. It can also integrate seamlessly with fume extraction equipment, allowing simultaneous operation for an optimal rework process.
